Are you seeing this, too?

It's crazy how much more pressure, stress, and distraction there is now, and the effect it's having on people.

If you're seeing too much drama, complaining, negativity, and lack of focus in your team, this is why. The pressure has essentially put everyone into survival mode.

This is not their fault, by the way. It's exactly what our systems are designed to do (respond to pressure by going into survival mode). The problem is, survival mode is precisely where we don't want to be.

Success today requires people to be their best: creative, flexible, open, positive, cooperative, present and engaged. These are the traits companies are looking for.

They're also the first ones to go when you're in survival mode.

What this tells us is, we need new skills. We need to learn to take control of these inner processes, rather than be controlled by them.

Raise Your Inner Game, Don't Just Talk, Be Heard!, and QBQ! are all simple, practical programs designed to do exactly that. They teach people how to rise above the pressure and distractions (and help others do it, too!) so everyone can stay out of survival mode and be more focused, productive, and fully alive, every single day.

If this makes sense for the problems you're seeing, click the "Speaking Info Request" button to start the conversation about how I can help.

"Raise Your Inner Game"

How to stay focused, productive and creative in today's distracted, high-pressure world.

[ Based on the "Focused! Every Day" training program and upcoming book. More at training.davidlevin.com ]

The sad fact is, there's more pressure, stress, and distraction in our work and lives than ever before - and it's only getting worse.

For people to succeed, they need to set that aside and consistently work at their highest level. Unfortunately, our natural reaction to the pressure pulls us in the opposite direction, sapping our creativity, energy and enthusiasm.

The quickest way to change that is to teach them how to master this inner process so they can consistently be their best in spite of the pressure. That's what my "Raise Your Game" program is about.

Imagine the difference for your organization if people could:

  • Stay focused and on task, in spite of the distractions
  • Be more present with customers and co-workers
  • Maintain a positive attitude in any situation
  • Be more creative and innovative
  • Have more self control and will power
  • Be better role models, coaches, and mentors

That's what you get when people raise their inner game. It's the quickest, easiest way to make a massive improvement in people's performance - and lives. Specific skills learned include:

  • Mental focus and follow-through
  • Emotional self-awareness and self-regulation
  • Increased self-discipline and willpower
  • Positive habit creation

"Personal Accountability and the QBQ!"

How to practice personal accountability at work and at home.

[ Based on "QBQ! The Question Behind the Question", co-authored with John G. Miller. More at QBQ.com ]

Ever heard questions like these?

  • "Why do we have to go through all this change?"
  • "When is someone going to train me?"
  • "Who dropped the ball?"
  • "When are we going to find good people?"
  • "Why can't they communicate better?"
  • "When is that department going to do its job right"
  • "Who's going to solve the problem?"

If you have, then you're organization is like most: suffering from Blame, Complaining, and Procrastination.

Nothing brings down the morale of the team-and the individual-like these common problems. Goals are not met, factions are created, stress is increased, and our attitude toward each other, the entity we represent, and even ourselves suffers.

The solution is practicing personal accountability.

Accountability and responsibility are put into action when we ask a better question. Questions like "How can I adapt to the changing world?" "What can I do to develop myself?" and "How can I contribute today?" immediately change our perspective in a forcefully positive way.

When we think like this, we empower ourselves to use our talent, skills, and time to solve problems, enhance relationships, and accomplish team and personal objectives.

In this lively and interactive session, David challenges his audiences to honestly assess their own sense of personal accountability, and works with the group, applying the principles of the QBQ! methods, to learn how to break that circle and find the question behind the question. Specific learning outcomes and abilities gained from this interactive session lead to:

  • Elimination of blame, complaining, and procrastination
  • Improved morale
  • Greater trust in relationships and the organizational culture
  • Enhanced problem-solving
  • Less stress
