AUDIOBOOK RESOURCES

Once you’ve read the book, listening to these songs will help remind you of what you've learned and deepen your connection with the material. They weren’t written with Raise Your Inner Game in mind (some are over 20 years old), but they speak to the same inner truths, and communicate them in a way that words alone never could. Enjoy!

The Art of Learning

Josh Waitzkin

Mind-blowing book on the mental path to elite-level performance. Must-read for anyone committed to excellence.

Letters from a Stoic

Seneca

Stoicism is growing in popularity, and reading this book, it's easy to understand why. It's a rich collection of helpful insights and perspectives that are surprisingly relevant in today's world.

Zen Flesh, Zen Bones

Paul Reps

I love Zen Koans. They jolt your mind in a way that opens you right up. Powerful little Level 4 triggers.

Waking Up

Sam Harris

Sam Harris's writings have been a big help to me, especially "The End of Faith." Parts of this will seem redundant with RYIG's "Focused Sitting," but it's an important, science-based perspective on the subject of presence.

10% Happier

Dan Harris

RYIG already has everything you need to get started with Focused Sitting (meditation), but this is still an excellent introduction to the subject. It’s just so honest and open about how weird and difficult it can all seem. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

Tao Te Ching

Lao Tzu

This works in a similar way to the Zen Koans. The stories open you right up. Powerfully insightful. And then some of them won't make any sense at all. :-) But still highly recommended.

The Power of Now

Eckhart Tolle

This was a hugely important book for me. The writing can actually transform you into a present state as you read it. On the other hand, it's a bit opaque, and can be hard to get your head around. And, of course, it's thick with New Age spirituality, which is off-putting to many people (me included). Still, it's a seminal work. Interestingly, reading RYIG may actually help you get more out of it.

The Inner Game of Tennis

Timothy Gallwey

This is the book that started it all, in a way. Obviously, the term "Inner Game" came from here. But I believe this was also the first time I heard the "two selves" idea. Anyway, a classic.

If you’ve read the book, you know I believe that the world needs more people who can raise their inner game, and the sooner the better. If you found Raise Your Inner Game helpful, there are several ways you can support that effort:

  • Tell friends. There are many ways to let friends know about the book – Facebook posts, texts, tweets, etc – and there’s nothing more powerful than a personal recommendation.
  • Write an Amazon review. People are frequently surprised to hear this, but online reviews are one of the biggest factors in a book's continued success. Taking a couple of minutes to leave a review makes a real difference in helping others get on the path to raising their inner game. Click here to leave a review: Amazon.com
  • Give a copy as a gift. Click on any of these links to send a copy of Raise Your Inner Game to a friend in their preferred format.
  • Buy books for your group. For purchases of more than 20 copies, you can get the best deal by buying direct. CLICK HERE to inquire about bulk purchases.
  • Invite me to come speak. There’s nothing like live and in-person to get people inspired to raise their inner game and/or help internalize the material faster and easier. CLICK HERE to inquire about having me come work with your group.

I believe so strongly in the ability of Raise Your Inner Game to improve your life that if you truly don't find it helpful, I'll refund your purchase price, no matter where you bought it. To claim your refund, simply email a copy of your purchase receipt to ryig-refund@davidlevin.com. I'll send your refund via PayPal within 5 business days. (NOTE: Refunds are limited to one book per customer, for english-language editions only, and cover purchase price only, not shipping.)
